November...and now December

Well it flew by like they all do.

Jeff was in Denver the last week of Oct. and then again the first week of November.

We then jetted off to San Diego for a fun family vacation with Jeff's parents and Brother/wife/boys! It was a blast...we rented a vacation house a mile from the beach. The house was awesome...kid friendly beyond belief. Complete with a huge playset outside, trampoline, huge/beautiful pool and hottub (fenced off for safety), putting green, a pirate room, a princess room and a play room. Vacationing in a house vs. hotel with kids is the only way to go. We spent a day at the beach, one day at LegoLand, a day at the Harbor and lots of time just playing around the house.

Thanksgiving was short and sweet. We spent the afternoon at Jeff's parents. My parents left that morning for their annual fall vacation to Hawaii (it's usually not at Thanksgiving but turned out that way this year). This in turn meant we only had to grace one house with our presence for the Holiday (it was kinda nice, even though I missed my mom and dad).

Now it's December already. Halliburton is getting closer to moving us. They put our house on the market Tuesday (not really whatI had in mind for the holidays, keeping the house tidy at all times). They've assigned us realtors here and Denver. I guess time will tell how quickly this will all happen. I'll keep you posted. Jeff's off to North Dakota this week and Houston next week.

Until next time...cheers and happy holidays!
