Poor Hailey! We were over at our soon to be new neighbors (they're building a house just 2 doors down from us) and Hailey took quite a digger last night :( It wasn't anything too dramatic. Hailey was just walking around, leaned over to try to pick something up and boom, fell face first onto the rough wood floor. The house is only in the framing stages so the floor is just OSB (or sub-flooring).
Never fails, we are supposed to have their 1 yr. pictures tomorrow...not sure if Candace (our photographer) can re-touch them or if we'll put it off until next week.

Ouch! That first big boom is never fun, but there will be many more to come. And they certainly find a way of happening before pictures or an important event. I finally got my kids pictures taken this week after canceling them several times for bumps and colds, etc. Just one more joy of being a parent! (She's still cute as can be!)
Poor thing, although, it is probably the first of many rough tumbles. I agree - things like this always happen at the most inopportune time! We're scheduled for pics on Wednesday so we'll keep our fingers crossed the shoot happens...

Poor little doll baby! Harder on Mommy, tho, I know! No worries, she'll heal fast. And if they're anything like my two...she'll have more bumps and bangs than Hudson will. Doesn't seem quite fair, tho.
